»In the name of diffraction, I declare: Chaotic multiplication of languages; Holistic understanding of existence; Violent meditation for the essence; Blasphemy as self-celebration; Search or generation of the first sense, or Unity, or Alef; Demarcation of that diagonal that is a symptom of the irrational consciousness, stretched between the sacred vertical line and the material horizontal.«

Algorismo is a performance for various entities and networked act for smartphones, humans and ancestral gestures. While creating a de facto network between humans, Algorismo creates a network between devices as well. Sacrificing the false attempt of the random, participants celebrate human and non-human languages, real and irrational numbers, anarchist trigonometry, and ongoing chaos.

Federico Poni is a kitchen alchemist, a web architect, a copy-and-paste champion, a garden lover, a dough emanator, a sound enthusiast, a precarious, an anarcho-defeatist, a professional fryer, a minister, a publisher, a friend of machines (maybe) and an enemy of AI (definitely). He studied New Technologies of Art at the Brera Academy in Milan and earned a Master in Experimental Publishing at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam. He now lives in the hills of Tuscan Romagna, co-curating and living in the “Habitat” project where he happily despairs of the global while looking for antidotes. Nowadays he teaches at Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna.

Chiara Prodi is an artist, performer, and cultural facilitator based in the Apennines, where she lives in a sprawling house with six cats and four humans. Together they form Habitat, an inland frontier cult(r)ural center. Trained in visual arts and sculpture, her work has evolved toward the processuality and performativity of practices related to matter. Since 2018, she has collaborated with the Canadian collective Mammalian Diving Reflex as a director, leading workshops and masterclasses on participatory and relational practices. Her work spans multiple roles: performer, set and costume designer, and whisperer. In 2020, she joined Neutopica, a nomadic art residency, together with a group of artists and friends. She lived in Brussels, where she learned about the textile practices, the transformations of dyeing and tailoring, which she describes as "working with skin”. She was bitten by a viper and snakes appears to her.
