Rok Kranjc
Rok Kranjc is an independent researcher, writer, translator and editor in the fields of political ecology, alternative economies and futures studies. He is the founder of Futurescraft, a research and design studio for experiential futures, generative games and other playful ways of engaging and co-shaping ideas around post-capitalism. Notable projects include Game-Changers: The Game, a modular board game and participatory game show, and Future 14B, a speculative co-design process and public performance series. He frequently collaborates with Slovenian and international organizations, including Aksioma – Institute for Contemporary Art, Maska Institute, and P2P Foundation and Participatory Futures Global Swarm. Rok has translated several books into Slovenian, including Arturo Escobar’s Designs for the Pluriverse, Maarten Hajer’s The Politics of Environmental Discourse and Elinor Ostrom’s Governing the Commons. He is co-authoring a university textbook on regenerative and commons-based economies with Dr. Peter Bloom.
