Melita Zajc
Melita Zajc obtained dual PhDs in Philosophy of Media from the University of Vienna and Anthropology of Everyday Life from the ISH - Faculty of Postgraduate Humanities in Ljubljana in 1999. She has served as a culture editor and journalist, contributing to various publications and media outlets, including Radio Študent, the weekly Mladina, and TV Slovenia. Zajc has edited and contributed to notable works such as “Watching at a Distance” (1994), “AV Media and Identities” (1996), and “Technologies and Societies” (2000). Zajc has also authored several books, including “Invisible Link: Uses of Broadcast Television in Slovenia” (1995) and “Digital Images” (2005). She has curated international symposiums for MFRU from 2007 to 2011, playing a key role in shaping the festival's intellectual and cultural discourse.
