The Museum of Anthropocene

The artwork is presented as a narrated fictional museum exhibition, confined within one space, featuring three extinct exhibits of flora that vanished during the Anthropocene era. The Anthropocene is defined as the geological epoch marked by significant human impact on Earth's geology and ecosystems. One of the most important aspects of this epoch is the impact of weather and climate change. By presenting the three tees or flora as holographic images of relics of the past, the installation tries to put us into a future where Earth's flora has been decimated. The trees are relics, serving as a reminder of our present state and a call to action to avoid climate apathy. It is both a very personal and local story about the life of a tee cut short, as well as an examination of global problems through three intimate stories.
