Four Microsystems Understood Through Belladonna Incense: 3 of Pentacles, 4 of Cups, 6 of Cups, King of Wands

»At the end of July, I found myself with four cards in my hand: 3 of Pentacles, 4 of Cups, 6 of Cups, King of Wands. I had an old, unpaired deck of cards, and during an event, I was giving one to each participant, with absolutely no reason or purpose. But a reason arrived, and it arrived with the discard. Each card generated a microsystem using a logical scheme of the Tarot as described by Eliphas Levi, occultist and Kabbalist.

The recontextualized symbol, or the symbolized contemporary, ancient, present or future symbols, images without linearity, inaccessible symbols or symbols with multiple interpretations, symbols intrinsic to the imagination or those which will later, eventually, be decoded.

Wanting to practice a modicum of ritual magic, the microsystems were generated by inhaling burning belladonna leaves, but I won't say more. The perpetual externalization of the unconscious through digital artifacts cannot help but impact the imagination as well—indeed, this is the discipline most affected.

Information is quantitative, but narrative is qualitative.

The destitution of the qualitative, however, generates other symbols.
