Freštreš is a Slovenian experimental art collective. Since 2013, the collective has been publishing an art magazine, also titled Freštreš, and holding exhibitions. The collective engages in performance art, installation, digital and internet art, creative writing, etc., often exploring their subject matter through the prism of contemporary concepts such as parafiction. Freštreš has published 10 issues of the magazine and held 7 solo exhibitions at venues including GT22 in Maribor (Sale, 2015), Kino Šiška in Ljubljana (Freštreš Redemption, 2015), and Media Nox in Maribor (Rebirth, 2021). In 2014, the collective's work was included in the final selection of DanD festival in Zagreb, and in 2017, it participated in a collective retrospective exhibition titled Zines! at MGLC in Ljubljana. The second issue of Freštreš magazine was shortlisted for Brumen Biennial in 2013; posters for the exhibition Ikigusare (Ljubljana, Poligon Exhibition Centre, 2014) were shortlisted for Brumen Biennial in 2015; and in 2019, the collective was awarded the Brumen Biennial Prize for Excellence in Slovenian Design in the field of publications for the tenth issue of their magazine, titled 10. In 2020/21 Freštreš took part in the online exhibition Off the Hook, presenting a satirical project UKP - Universal Cultural Package. In 2021/22, the collective collaborated with Prešeren Theatre Kranj, designing the artwork for the project The Last One Should Turn Off the Light. Current members of Freštreš are: Peter Ferlan, Aljaž Glaser, Blažka Jurjavčič, Emil Kozole and Dorijan Šiško.
