Ljubljana Games Club is like a book club, only instead of reading books, participants play games. At the meetings, they treat games as an artistic and social medium worthy of admiration, respect, and critique. This time in Maribor, they’ll be discussing 𝐵𝑒𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑦𝑎𝑙 𝑎𝑡 𝐶𝑙𝑢𝑏 𝐿𝑜𝑤, an esoteric cRPG that takes us into the underground scene of the fictional city New Kroy, where you play as an agent on a mission to rescue a comrade – and try to be cool enough to survive.

The game turns social interactions into basic number manipulation and dice rolls, serving as a sincere love letter to board game systems. Its creator, Cosmo D, a former cellist, has developed five games set in the same universe – a melting pot of New York culture translated onto the digital canvas, wrapped in a Lynchian atmosphere and accompanied by funk tracks.
