Zvonka T. Simčič

Zvonka T Simčič (SI) works in the field of contemporary art practices in the fields of visual art (video/film, intermedia art, installation, photography) and performance. All her works are strongly connected to social space and her own experiences in it. She focuses on human existence, where she explores the consequences of both social, economic and political positions in terms of power relations, and the individual as a whole being in the social space. He never forgets that man is also a spiritual being. In connection with the new media in his works, he becomes a "living" but unplanned actor - a performer. In addition to her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, where she also received her Master's degree, she has studied geomancy with Mark Pogačnik, classical spirituality at the University of Ljubljana with the practice of a spiritual companion, and has gained experience of the diverse spiritualities of the world. All this is reflected in her works.
