Vojko Pogačar
In 1973, Vojko Pogačar graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. He spent a half of his active period as a freelancer: painter, graphical designer, and industrial designer. From 1993 and 1997 he was a member of fine artists association Paris – Belleville, art groups 3H30, Paris – Bordeaux; Ant-Artika. He presented his works in over 90 individual and over 160 joint exhibitions. In 2000, he was awarded the prize for significant works of art, in the field of industrial design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, and was a head of the Laboratory for Engineering Product Design. He was a lecturer at the University of Maribor. In 2016, he received an honorary doctorate from the University of Maribor for the development of the Engineering Product Design study programme at University of Maribor. From 2010 and 2017 he was a president of the Slovenian Association for Colours. From 2019 he has been a vice president of the ZDSLU and a president of the DLUM.
