Irena Borić

Irena Borić (SI) is an art historian. She works as an independent curator and critic. She holds a BA in History of Art and History from the Faculty of Arts, University of Zagreb, and a MA in Arts And Heritage: Policy, Management, and Education from Maastricht University, The Netherlands. She has worked on the projects Politics of Osjećaj. Ekonomije ljubavi (2012.) Sram te bodi! (2013-2016.), net.cube (2015.- ) and Symptoms of the Future (2021). She was a member of the Biennial Collective of the 32nd Graphic Biennial. Recent exhibitions include Truth that Lies (with Renata Šparada), Utrecht (2019), Niski tonovi zemljine pjesme (Low tones of the earth's poem), Velika Gorica (2019) and At some point we all have to dance, Celje (with Maja Hodošček)(2021). In 2020/22 she is working with the Cultural and Educational Association KIBLA to curate the educational programme. She is a member of the Croatian section of AICA-e. She lives and works in Maribor.
