Igor Štromajer (SI) is an electric artist – a.k.a. the "Pavarotti du HTML" (Libération) – who researches tactical a=tF², intimate guerrilla, and traumatic low-tech communication strategies. He has showcased his work at more than three hundred exhibitions across more than sixty countries (including transmediale, ISEA, EMAF, SIGGRAPH, Ars Electronica Futurelab, V2_, IMPAKT, CYNETART, Manifesta, FILE, Stuttgarter Filmwinter, Hamburg Kunsthalle, ARCO, Microwave, Banff Centre, Rencontres Internationales, The Wrong – New Digital Art Biennale, and numerous other galleries and museums worldwide) and has received several awards (in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Dresden, Belfort, Madrid, Maribor, Podgorica, etc.). His net art works are part of the permanent collections of esteemed art institutions, including the Centre national d'art et de culture Georges-Pompidou – Musée National d'Art Moderne, Paris; the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid; Computerfinearts Gallery – net and media art collection, New York; Maribor Art Gallery, Slovenia. He is a member of the Zentrum für Netzkunst, Berlin.
