Georg Weckwerth
The artist curator, exhibition maker, producer and festival director studied under Achim Freyer at the Hochschule der Künste, Berlin. In the mid-1990s, his work began as a curator focusing on sound and art. Festival and exhibition projects led him u. a. to Hanover, Berlin, Vienna, Seoul, London, Karlsruhe, Prague, Copenhagen, Ostrava, Halberstadt, Maribor, Opava and Jihlava. He is the founder and artistic director of TONSPUR Kunstverein Wien. Georg Weckwerth received an award as art mediator in 2010 at the Prix Ars Electronica. He was born in 1965 in Herzberg am Harz and lives and works in Vienna, Hattorf am Harz and Berlin.

Private Dots and Public Clouds
Private Dots and Public Clouds is based on a recording of a silent online meeting using a video conference software. During this meeting, the artists refrained from talking and tried to listen to the space that emerged out of the overlapping sounds of all our individual environments within their laptop speakers.
