/’fu:bar/ (est. 2015) is an annual program centred around electronic experiments and research in contemporary error-themed digital art theory and practice. The main week-long program, consisting of talks, workshops, and performances, starts on the first Saturday of October. The partner program extends throughout the rest of the year, offering artist residencies, educational events, video screenings, group exhibitions, and an open archive, which is presented and shared at multiple partner locations both physically and online. The festival and exhibition program are accessible ONLINE and AFK at venues in Zagreb (HR) and beyond. The focus of /’fu:bar/ 2023 lies on the practices and value of DIY – Do It Yourself, but for others with&//in art SOFTWARE | METHODS | ARCHIVES | COMMUNITIES | THEORY and other relevant facets of our shared contemporary electronic culture.
