MFRU x PANKE GALLERY: “Arcane Affinities” Publication Collaboration

We’re excited to share that MFRU is part of the new publication Arcane Affinities, launched as part of the project Esoteric Algorithms and Re-Enchanted Technologies—curated by Arianna Forte and Noemi Garay—opening on 16 October at Panke Gallery, Berlin.

Developed in collaboration with REINCANTAMENTO and panke.gallery, the publication extends the dialogue between the Berlin exhibition and this year’s edition of MFRU – the International Festival of Computer Arts in Maribor. It gathers artworks, essays, and experimental methods that explore the edges of hermetic and computational practices, proposing new ways to think about technological agency and enchantment.

The collaboration grew out of shared interests and conversations that shaped the conceptualisation of both projects. Arcane Affinities stands as both a record and a continuation of this exchange: a transnational constellation of voices weaving together speculative, embodied, and re-enchanted approaches to technology.
