Kritiški pose(la)dek is a para-artistic podcast about current happenings on the local art scene. It is hosted by art historian and curator Maša Žekš and editor and artist Jernej Čuček Gerbec. From the perspective of art criticism and the exploration of various aspects of visual arts and the broader cultural sphere, their informal dialogues with selected guests touch upon local art, recently visited exhibitions and trends, as well as scandals and themes that cut across the traditional visual art landscape.

The spinoff show of Kritiški pose(la)dek, or a side project titled Emfazna zaledja covers selected art festivals taking place in Slovenia outside the centralized capital. In addition to the podcast episodes, the project also includes written art criticism, created in collaboration with the online critical platform Koridor – Crossroads of Art. Emfazna zaledja brings the content and activities of local art festivals closer to the public and offers insight into the artistic practices of participating (international) artists. Through on-site art criticism, it also reveals a broader perspective on reviewing practices and the work of professional writers in the field of visual arts and culture.
