Jelena Viskovic (b. 1989) uses games engines to create intersectional works. She combines installations, sculptural elements and simulations, and is interested in how game environments can contribute to the development of new research tools, social organizational platforms and public gathering spaces. Her works use architectural structures, scripted characters and game mechanics to provide unexpected ways of interacting with technology. Her projects have been commissioned by the V&A (UK), Rhizome (US), the New Institute (Netherlands) and Akademie Schloss Solitude (Germany). Visković is a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art (UK) and the AA School of Architecture (UK) and works as a software developer.
