Aleksandra Saška Gruden
Aleksandra Saška Gruden graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, specializing in sculpture. Gruden works across various mediums, including sculpture, spatial installation, video, performance, and photography. She also taught sculpture at the Famul Stuart School of Applied Arts in Ljubljana from 2003 to 2013. She has served as the artistic director for sculpture symposia and exhibition programs at the Maribor Art Centre and the Central Station. Gruden has contributed to cultural discussions through polemical round tables and articles for RTV Slovenia and Likovne besede magazine. She has been an active participant in the Slovenian art scene, exhibiting her work both domestically and internationally, with involvement in various projects related to MFRU as well as curating festivals between 2021 and 2023.
